Pull out of Iraq?

After our congressman, Howard Coble, suggested that we pull out of Iraq, my friend Cliff, a Vietnam Vet, wrote him this letter:

Dear Congressman Coble, If America had not been attacked on 9-11-2001,we would not be in this fight. There are probably more Muslims than Americans that would like to see the U.S. military withdraw from Iraq, but they should have thought about that before 9-11. We did not start the fight but we are going to finish it. Americans should also know that if we do not fight them on their soil, we will be fighting them here on American soil with the additional cost of civilian life and the economy totally going south. America can not afford to be under constant threat by terrorist like Israel has been experiencing in terrorist attacks for the past twenty years. We need to KILL the people that threaten our Nation before they kill us. The muslim religion is not a religion of peace, liberty or freedom. It is my personal opinion that this is really a religious war started by the muslim nation against America which is founded upon the Almighty God, our Creator and our Savior. Leaving Iraq is not an option for America. Killing and defeating the enemy is our only option. We can not be a divided Nation and defeat the enemy. We should have the resolve to win at any cost period! After spending one and a half years in Vietnam, I understand the costs of freedom, and all Americans should know that freedom is never free.
